Ride for the Living
The JCC SF and the SF-Kraków Sister Cities Association
worked together on this project
Thanks to the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco, the JCC in Kraków is the proud owner of two new exercise bicycles. These will be used for training riders who participate in the Ride for the Living (a bicycle ride from the Nazi German Camp, Auschwitz, to Kraków) to celebrate Jewish life, survival and hope.
Thanks to the JCC SF crew:
Craig Salgado and Aaron Zaffronowi who raised funds to purchase the spin bicycles
Thanks to Sister Cities President, John Henry Fullen, who, with Ryan Romero and Matteo Rizzo, and the South San Francisco Rotary Club and El Camino High School's Interact Club raised additional funds for transporting the bicycles to Poland
