Janusz Makuch, founder of the Festival of Jewish Culture in Kraków, is making a rare appearance in our great city of San Francisco. Please join us in raising a glass with him. The event will include a short film presentation about the festival, featuring some of the amazing music showcased at the festival (which has hosted Balkan Beat Box, Sway Machinery, Daniel Kahn and The Painted Bird, and more!). Live music from Josh Horowitz and Stuart Brotman (Stuart of Canned Heat fame and Kaleidoscope).
This will be a great opportunity to learn about this Polish festival, talk to Janusz about potential festival programing, and learn more about the amazing music coming to the festival locally and from around the world. After you get a taste, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THE FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER when you find out all the amazing programming it presents!
Wine will be served
