Golden Gate Yacht Club Marina, RAIN or SHINE!

$10 per person | Space limited; Reservations REQUIRED

Come join us at noon on June 29th aboard the tall ship America to welcome her to the Bay Area, and to celebrate the 235th anniversary of the 1776 founding of San Francisco. We will have birthday cake and coffee, tour the vessel and learn of her history and her role in the upcoming America’s Cup events. The America is a beautiful 139-foot schooner and replica of the original America, the first winner of what became known as the America’s Cup. In America’s Cup racing circles, she is also known as USA1.

Your families and children are welcome. Please register by June 22.

Written in 1776 by the founders of San Francisco: “I do believe that, if we could be well populated, as in Europe, there would be nothing more pretty in the world; for this place has the best accommodations for founding on it a most beautiful city.”
